Money money

Last week I was learning about how important it is to read instructions properly and to look at the key in graphs.

Here are a few problems I worked on. It is important that I look at the key because if you don't look at the key your answer will always be wrong.

WALT improve our writing by carefully checking our sentences and trying to add descriptive language. I think I achieved the because I have a lot of descriptive words. Next time I will try to complex punctuation

 The strange thief

My morning was the best. I was watching my aunty Kathy's kapahaka group practicing. My smile was glued to my face I had the goosebumps there last song hit me it was so beautiful and I was about to burst into tears. It was talking about how we let our tupuna leave to heaven. There whole bracket was so perfect from the poi to the haka everything.

“Lunch time” yelled my aunty Ra. All the kids  had to go and get change except for me and Huhanah. We were so happy because our stomachs were grumbling louder than a lion's roar. We had a race to the kitchen I bet here. We just sat down and then “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” a loud scream came from the girls dressing room. Huhanah and I looked at each other in suspicion. Huhana said, “ what just happened” I answered, “ I dont know” We hopped off our chairs and ran to the locker room “what happened, what happened” we said “ Someone stole Jackie's bag” I said,  “what no way”. My heart was a hammer pounding away inside my chest. My day was turned upside down.

The food was so delicious it was the best food that I have had in my life. It was on,straight after lunch Huhanah and I became detectives. Our mission was to find out who stole the bag. We started off at the scene of the crime there were some of Jackie's clothes on the ground me and Huhanah followed the trail but it lead to a dead end. Every clue we had was just another dead end. This thief was a professional. Huhanah and I started having a lot of doubt. We couldn’t find a thing the sun started going down and me and Huhanah had ran out of time sadly but it was okay because actual detectives had arrived on scene. Huhanah was still a little sad so I cheered her up by saying that the group would win her frown turned upside down.

I had a spectacular day but also a terrifying day. But I really hope they find the thief and won the competition. I wish that this day could last forever so we could find the thief. I will certainly never
